1.1 UT according to GB/T13314-2008A after rough machining

2 Macrostructure

2.1 take a sample from the neck part of the roll(casing head of the ingot)

2.2 check macrostructure, the sample should not have crack, bubble, white pit...

2.3 transvese macro-structure accordingly to GB1299-2000 class 3, center porosity<=2.0, ingot="" type="" macrosegregation="" 2="" 0="" span="">

2.4 Accordingly to GB/T1979, spot segregation<=2.5, pull="" 2="" 0="" span="">

3 Microstructure

3.1 take a sample from the neck part of the roll(casing head of the ingot), it should be in the 1/3 radius from surface.
